Experience covered rapid expansion, complex operational structures, financial restructuring, and the orderly wind-down and asset divestment of the group.

Development and structuring of a fast-growing quick service restaurant operator in Africa, launched in 2012 through master franchise agreements with leading international brands. The company expanded steadily across multiple countries, reaching more than 180 combined stores.
In 2017, the business opened its capital to a AAA-rated international investor to support further growth. By 2022, it was recognized as the largest fast-food network on the continent and initiated a new capital raise to accelerate multi-brand, multi-country expansion.

Management of a shipping company approved by major international oil companies, operating from Europe and Africa. The company owned and managed a fleet of petroleum tankers, primarily MR vessels, chartered to oil majors and national oil companies.
In 2005, a newbuild program for three chemical tankers was launched in South Korea. These assets were successfully sold in 2008 at the peak of the shipping market, followed by a full exit from the business in 2016.

Founded in the mid-1990s, this platform began as a petroleum products trading business serving the Nigerian market. To support its activities, it developed the first privately owned refined products storage facility in Lagos and acquired a dedicated fleet of oil tankers operating across the Gulf of Guinea.
As operations expanded, shipping activities were restructured and isolated into a standalone structure, while trading operations scaled geographically and were later integrated into a larger international energy group.

This business evolved from an importer of air conditioners into a fully integrated manufacturing, trading and retail platform for consumer electronics and household appliances.
Following regulatory changes, significant investments were made in local assembly, including the region’s first flat-panel television production line.
The platform assembled products for leading international brands and built an extensive commercial footprint with over 20 showrooms and close to 800 distributors. After several years of adverse market conditions, operations were wound down in 2016.
